Yogurt 'N Fruit Sundaes w/Crunchy Peanut Topping

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 banana, cut in half lengthwise and sliced
  • 3/4 cup seedless grapes, cut in half
  • 32 ounce vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped Peanut Shop Handcooked Virginia Peanuts (w/salt)
  • 1.5 ounce coarsely chopped Peanut Shop Handcooked Virginia Peanuts (w/salt)
  •  honey, optional
Directions:
Combine strawberries, banana and grapes, spoon approximately 1/4 cup fruit in the bottom of four glass dessert glasses. Top with 1/4 cup yogurt. Combine peanuts and granola, spoon 1 1/2 tablespoons over yogurt. Repeat layers. If desired, drizzle top with honey. Serve immediately.

Makes 4 servings

Note for testing purposes Nature Valley crunchy granola bars, Oats N Honey were used.

Recipe tips
-This is a great recipe for kids to make. Place combined fruit in one bowl, the peanut mixture in another bowl and the container of yogurt on the counter. Let kids assemble their own parfaits. Use clear plastic cups instead of glass dessert dishes.

To chop peanuts, place in a heavy duty quart size self-sealing plastic bag. Crush peanuts with a rolling pin into small pieces.
